Act 1- Last first kiss by One direction. This songs relates to this act because it is the first time Romeo and Juliet see each other, they have their first kiss and fall in love.

Act 2- Love story by Taylor Swift. I chose this song because Romeo lingers in the Capulet’s garden, seeing Juliet leaning over her balcony and in this song it mentions that. This song also shows us that Romeo and Juliet get married in the end, which is what happens at the end of this act.

Act 3- How do I breathe by Mario. This song is relevant because in this act Romeo gets Banished from Verona and will be separated from Juliet so he doesn’t know what he will do without Juliet by his side.

Act 4- Where ever you will go by the calling. I believe this song fits in really well with this act because this is the act that Juliet takes the poison and it’s telling us she will do anything just to be with Romeo, she will even leave her town and run away to another town with him. She will go where ever he will go.

Act 5- Stay by Rihanna. This is a great song for act five in my opinion, because when Juliet wakes up she finds Romeo lying dead next to her. A line in the song is,” Funny you’re the broken one when I’m the only one who needed saving”. This could relate to how Juliet planned on waking up to find Romeo waiting to save her, but instead she found Romeo dead. The song also says “makes me feel like I can’t live without you” which relates to how Juliet can’t live without Romeo and kills herself with the Romeo’s dagger so they could be together in heaven.
